This class is designed to help you expand your approach to photography and the way you see. You’ll question the method and purpose of your technique as a means to challenge and understand your creative process. We discuss things like being present, respecting the process and overcoming perfection.
Logistics
- We begin by reviewing your portfolios.
- We’ll look at a range of inspiring photography to discuss how certain concepts, themes and methods were presented.
- Shoot on location
- We discuss the experience and the resulting images
- Discussion
- We edit the images together in Lightroom and Photoshop and review the developing process.
- We go over workflow and output to illustrate how these technical tools can be used to execute artistic expression.
This workshop will challenge your personal and technical skills, the flow of your work, your artistic intention and your personal work ethic. You’ll walk away with a new understanding of who you are as an artist.
